La Compagnia del Gluten Free

Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code) and subsequent amendments, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without having to provide any reasons, under the conditions set out below.

1. Time limit for exercising withdrawal

You have 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to notify us of your intention to withdraw, without the need to provide any explanation and without penalty.

2. Limitations — Perishable food products

Pursuant to art. 59, paragraph 1, letters d) and e) of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for:

  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (fresh foods, bakery products)
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection once opened after delivery (food products in sealed packaging that has been opened)
  • Frozen goods whose cold chain has been interrupted after delivery

In short: our frozen and bakery products cannot be returned once delivered, in order to protect health and food safety. For any problem found with the products (lack of conformity, shipping damage, product not matching the order) contact us straight away: we will work to resolve the issue with a refund or a replacement.

3. How to exercise withdrawal (for eligible products)

For products for which withdrawal is permitted, you must send us an explicit communication within 14 days of delivery. You can do so via:

State in your communication:

  • Order number
  • Products for which you are exercising withdrawal
  • Your identification (first name, surname, address)
  • Preferred refund method (to the same payment method used for the purchase, where possible)

4. Return of the goods

The products must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, in the same condition in which they were received, intact and in their original packaging. The return costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Refund

The refund of the price paid will be made within 14 days of receipt of the goods or of proof of their dispatch (whichever occurs first), via the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

The refund may be withheld until receipt of the goods or until the consumer provides proof of having returned the goods.

6. Legal guarantee of conformity

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, all our products are covered by the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity provided for by arts. 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity, we guarantee a refund or replacement of the product.

7. Withdrawal form (optional)

You may exercise withdrawal, for eligible products, by completing the following form in full and sending it by email to info@lacompagniadelglutenfree.it before the withdrawal period expires:
