These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the distance purchase of products made through the website lacompagniadelglutenfree.it (hereinafter the «website»), owned by «La Compagnia del Glutenfree S.r.l.s.», dedicated to the offer and sale of gluten-free food products. Please read them carefully before ordering any product.
For applicable rights, the customer may refer to Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005 (Italian Consumer Code). The customer’s rights are in no way limited by these Terms and Conditions, which apply in addition to statutory rights and do not replace them.

2. Subject matter and scope of application
Under this contract, La Compagnia del Glutenfree S.r.l.s. sells, and the customer purchases at a distance by electronic means, the gluten-free food products (bread, focaccia, pizza bases, pinsa, croissants, brioches, desserts and bakery specialities) described in the relevant product sheets. The applicable Terms and Conditions are those in force on the date the order is submitted. Any amendments shall apply only to orders concluded after their publication on the website.
3. Registration
Registration on the website is free of charge and allows you to place orders, manage your details and review your purchase history. Login credentials are personal, may not be transferred to third parties and must be kept securely. The user warrants the truthfulness and completeness of the information provided. You may close your account at any time by writing to info@lacompagniadelglutenfree.it. Purchasing is in any case also possible as a guest, without registration.
4. Products and availability
The essential characteristics of the products are set out in the technical sheets, which we invite you to read carefully. Photographs are indicative and may show the product already baked or prepared: the packaging and graphic appearance delivered may therefore not exactly match what is depicted. Availability is constantly monitored and updated; in the event of unavailability arising after the order, the product will normally be restocked within 5 working days, or we will contact you to agree on a solution or a refund.
5. Order and conclusion of the contract
- Orders are placed online by adding products to the cart and completing checkout, either as a guest or after registration. The information requested must be completed correctly in every part.
- Before submission, the order summary shows the selected products, the price inclusive of taxes, the shipping costs and times, and any additional charges. You may correct any errors up until you click «Make payment».
- The contract is deemed concluded when the customer receives the order confirmation from the seller by email.
- The seller may decline orders that are incomplete, contain incorrect or misleading information, in the event of a pricing/description error on the website, or where the product is unavailable. In such cases, the seller will inform the customer and refund any amount already paid.
- In the event of non-payment, even partial, the contract shall be deemed automatically terminated pursuant to art. 1456 of the Italian Civil Code.
6. Amendment and cancellation of the order
Without prejudice to the right of withdrawal, the customer may amend or cancel the order by contacting the workshop on +39 351 358 2074 or by email at info@lacompagniadelglutenfree.it, as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Cancellation results in the termination of the relevant contract. In the event of unforeseen logistical difficulties, the seller may cancel the order (with notice and refund of the amount paid) or agree on a new delivery date.
7. Prices and payments
- Prices are expressed in Euro and are inclusive of VAT. Any taxes, duties or customs charges applicable in destination countries other than Italy are borne by the customer.
- The price applied is the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed. The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time, without prejudice to contracts already concluded.
The accepted payment methods are:
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
- PayPal
- Klarna and Apple Pay / Google Pay, where available
Payments are processed in a secure and encrypted manner through third-party providers: card details neither pass through nor are stored on our servers. At the user’s request, an invoice can be issued, based on the information provided by the customer, who warrants its truthfulness.
8. Shipping and delivery
- We currently ship to Italy, Germany and Malta. Delivery is made by courier within 3-7 working days depending on the destination area.
- Shipping costs are calculated and shown during checkout based on the destination; shipping is free for orders over € 200.00.
- Shipping takes place after confirmation that payment has been successfully completed. Delivery requires the presence of a person to sign for it; shipments to post office boxes or automated distribution points are not permitted.
- On receipt, check that the number of parcels matches and that the packaging is intact. In the event of damage or discrepancy, accept the parcel with a specific reservation on the courier’s document (e.g. «accepted with reservation due to dented box») and contact us promptly: the reservation is necessary in order to take action against the carrier.
- If the recipient is absent, after two attempts the parcel is held in storage. Failure to collect it within 3 working days of the first attempt results in termination of the contract pursuant to art. 1456 of the Italian Civil Code; the refund, where due and except for products with a short shelf life, will be net of the unsuccessful delivery costs.
9. Right of withdrawal
The consumer customer has the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product. However, as these are perishable and/or sealed food products, the right of withdrawal is excluded in the cases provided for by art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code (goods liable to deteriorate rapidly; sealed goods opened after delivery for reasons of hygiene/health protection). 10. Legal guarantee of conformity
The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by arts. 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, applicable where the defect becomes apparent within 24 months of delivery. In the event of a lack of conformity, you are entitled to a refund or replacement: contact us at info@lacompagniadelglutenfree.it, stating the order number and attaching photos of the defect. In this case, the return costs are borne by us, through a carrier appointed by us.
11. Discount vouchers and promotions
Any discount vouchers or promotional codes can be entered while completing the order: the system will automatically update the total amount net of the voucher’s value. Vouchers may be combined with other offers only where expressly indicated.
12. Liability and force majeure
The seller undertakes to perform its services in good faith and with due diligence. The seller is not liable for delays or failures to perform due to chance events or force majeure, nor for the fraudulent use of cards or payment methods by third parties (never coming into contact with the relevant data). The seller’s liability for the quality of the products is limited to the moment of delivery at the place indicated by the customer; any liability for subsequent improper storage is excluded. Any complaints regarding the performance of the service must be raised, on pain of forfeiture, within 48 hours of delivery, documented with photographic material as well.
13. Intellectual property
All website content (texts, trademarks, logos, images, graphics and their arrangement) is protected by copyright and trademark legislation. Except for strictly personal use, it is not permitted to copy, alter, distribute or use such content without the rights holder’s authorisation.
14. Customer service and complaints

15. Applicable law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution
The contract is governed by Italian law. The sale is deemed to be completed in Ravanusa (AG) at the seller’s operational office. For disputes with a consumer, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile has exclusive and mandatory jurisdiction; in any other case, the Court of Agrigento has exclusive jurisdiction.
Pursuant to arts. 141-bis et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, the European ODR platform is available for the online resolution of disputes: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
